2024-25 Valeri Nichushkin Alternate Set (KSC/Avalanche)

This is Val "Choo Choo" Nichushkin's game worn alternate sweater from the 2024-25 season. The Avalanche only wore one set of these alternate 3rd sweaters for the entire season. The sweater exhibits solid wear with three team repairs, a mark on the rest of the sweater which has been photo matched and heavy pilling in the rear hem.  The sweater also has the new IMA Financial Services patch advertisement which was new for the 2024-25 season.. 

This was the first time that the Avalanche/KSC didn't have an auction for game worn sweaters all season. The alternate sweater set were the first to be auctioned in late May 2025.  So these new "Fanatics" branded sweaters were eagerly anticipated.  Choo Choo wore this sweater in 7 rivalry games and he scored 2 goals and 1 assist for 3 points.  Very happy to add another Big Val sweater to my collection and as always, Go Avs Go! 

The new IMA Financial Services advertisement patch adorns the right chest of the sweater.  2024-25 is the first season that the Colorado Avalanche placed advertisement patches on their game worn sweaters.

Team repairs, three in total are evident on the shoulder of the jersey and the lower sleeve/cuff.

2024-25 Set Tag adorns the left kidney area of the back of the sweater. Fairly over sized set tags. Much larger than usual. 

Donny White the Avs' new equipment manager signature and out date indicating 3/29/25 as the last game the sweater was worn by Nichushkin.
