2005-06 Alex Tanguay Set 2 Home (MeiGray)

This is Alex Tanguay's Set 2 home sweater from the 2005-06 season.  The sweater exhibits terrific game wear with stick marks, puck marks, board burns, unprepared holes and major pilling in the rear hem. This season would prove to be Tanguay's last with the Avs in his first stint with the Avalanche. Tanguay scored 29 goals and added 49 assists for 78 points that season.. He was traded to the Calgary Flames in the offseason for picks that never really panned out.. Turned out to be a bad decision for the Avalanche organization.. I am very excited to add another Tangs to my collection.. IT'S ALWAYS GREAT TO ADD ANOTHER AVS' STANLEY CUP CHAMPION TO MY COLLECTION!

The beautiful 10th Anniversary patch adorns the right chest of the sweater. This is by far my favorite Avalanche patch

2008-09 Darcy Tucker Set 1 Road (MeiGray)

This is Darcy Tucker's set 1 road game worn sweater from then 2008-09 season. Tucker joined the Avs' after a long stint with the Toronto Maple Leafs.  Tucker was an agitator who didn't shy away from the fisticuffs and getting under the other team's best players skin... In his first year with the Avalanche he scored 8 goals and added 8 assists for 16 points in 63 games. The sweater exhibits decent game use with stick and puck marks, pilling in rear hem and some bleeding of the burgundy onto the white of the sweater. I was able to photo match the sweater to the dark mark on the left sleeve below.. The sweater is a size 58

2020-21 Bowen Byram Reverse Retro Set Rookie Season (KSC/Avalanche)

This is Bowen Byram's reverse retro Avalanche/Nordiques game worn sweater from the outdoor game at Lake Tahoe vs the Vegas Golden Knights on February 20th 2021, at the Edgewood Tahoe Resort in Stateline, Nevada. The game was delayed after 1 period of play due to a tremendous amount of sun glare and poor ice conditions.  The game resumed later that night with the Avalanche winning the game 3-2. 

Bowen wore this beautiful retro Nordiques sweater in period 3. The sweater is technically a rookie sweater of Byram's.  The sweater exhibits very little wear, typical for being worn in just one period.  Byram was selected 4th overall in the 2019 NHL draft and is expected to be a staple on the Avs' blue line for years to come.. I am so very excited to add one of these rare reverse retro game worn sweaters to my collection.

2013-14 Alex Tanguay Set 1 Home Sweater (MeiGray)

This is Alex Tanguay's set 1 burgundy home sweater from his return to the Colorado Avalanche in 2013-14. The sweater has been matched to loose threads on front of the shirt to early games in the season. Very light wear consisting of a few small board burns on the sleeves. Tanguay scored 1 goal and added 5 assists in 6 games while wearing this home sweater at the Pepsi Center.  It was a season to forget for Tanguay as he was injured for most of the 2013-14 season. 

I am always happy to add another game worn sweater from this Avs legend and Stanley Cup champion...

2003-04 Peter Forsberg Road Set 3/SC Playoffs (MeiGray) HHOF

This is Peter Forsberg's Set 3/SC Playoffs away game worn sweater from the 2003-04 season. This Foppa sweater exhibits exceptional game use with numerous stick and puck marks throughout, board burns, paint transfer as well as heavy pilling.. Foppa was injured for a big chunk of this campaign but he was certainly a productive player when in the lineup.. This set 3 road sweater was worn from 3/16/04 through 5/2/04.  It was worn for 11 games total, including the Stanley Cup playoffs.. Foppa scored 2 goals and added 9 assists for 11 points in this sweater. I was very excited to add this amazing sweater of Peter Forsberg to my collection. An all time Avs' great and hockey hall of famer!!!

2020-21 Gabriel Landeskog Opening Night Set (KSC/Avalanche)

This is Gabriel Landeskog's opening night Colorado Avalanche game sweater worn on January 13th, 2021 at Ball Arena vs St. Louis Blues.   The Avs didn't start off their COVID shortened season all that well losing to the rival Blues, 4-1. The captain wore this sweater in the game and logged 18:55 of ice time in it and was a plus/minus -3 :( .. The jersey has some decent photomatch-able wear despite being worn for one game.. Marks on the crest, loose whiskers and glue residue were all photomatched.  The 25th anniversary patch adorns the left chest and the sweaters were all signed by the player who wore it.

Opening night Set Tag on rear hem, with player's name, number and hometown. Cutting Edge Sports is again the customizer for this season and JC Ihrig, The Avs' equipment manager has signed the fight strap

2001-02 Steven Reinprecht Set 1 Alternate (MeiGray)

 This is Steven Reinprecht's Set 1 Alternate sweater from the 2001-02 Season.. Rhino is a Stanley Cup champion with the Avalanche in 2001... He played 3 seasons with the Avalanche scoring 40 goals and 64 assists for 104 points... This is the original burgundy third set that the Avalanche unveiled in the 2001-02 season. This sweater exhibits nice game wear with several board burns, stick and puck marks as well as customized collar laces..
